BACK // TRACK is a first-person shooter built around a singular twist: time is a tool. To progress, you don't just shoot; you create loops and collaborate with echoes of your past actions to solve spatial puzzles. Every loop you initiate adds another "you" to the environment, and the core challenge becomes managing these echoes. The ultimate goal? Complete the objective and then end the sequence with only one version of yourself remaining.
On the technical side, this project was a collaboration between myself (Jordan Kozlowski) and Conor O'Donnell, who worked together on game design and programming in Godot. The primary development focus was making this time-loop mechanic feel intuitive and deeply integrated into both movement and puzzle-solving. The distinct, glitchy aesthetic that brings the repetitive net-dream to life was crafted by artist Gabby Del Bianco.
